Flowers Wilting?

I didn't think flowers wilted in ACNH, but I noticed Blaire had a little squiggle over her head that indicated she was feeling down so I talked to her and she said there were flowers that wilted because she didn't water them. I talked to her 3 times in a row and every time she talked about wilting flowers. Is this something I should be concerned about or is this just random dialogue? I'm trying to grow hybrids but I'll admit there are some patches of flowers I forget to water sometimes

From understanding so far flower don't wilt so it is probably random dialogue xD and I don't think you need to worry.

Ah I hope so! Maybe it's just a snooty thing? Blaire is my first snooty and I've only had her a couple of days, when I had a smug villager and he had that symbol over his head, he was worried about being uncool. That seemed like a really....on-brand? thing for a smug to be worried about lol, so I figured maybe it was a topic that smug villagers in general would be bothered about if you talked to them when they had that symbol. Snooty villagers being sad over wilting flowers is a bit strange to me though since it seems more like a normal-type villager thing to do.

If anyone else has had dialogue about flowers wilting, I'm curious what personality type the villager was.
