Flowers in village

Has anyone ever tried to encourage only one or two types of flowers in your village? I'm thinking of removing everything but my Irises and Roses

Yes! I moved all the normal flowers I could find and put them on the beach so they'd still count to my perfect town rating. Then I grew/purchased only red roses and I'm currently organizing everything to feature only them. I've done this before in previous towns- except last time I used on blue pansies and white roses.

It's just unfortunate that with the Beautiful Town ordinance in effect, regular flowers spawn more often and villagers plant them. But it's not too much trouble in the long run for what it's worth.

im going to take the beautiful one off soon when i go and sell a bunch of stuff cuz im collecting everything i can to get collections for my house.

For a while I had only black and gold roses. It looked a bit same-y after a bit, so then I switched to random just white flowers. Regardless of what you choose you can probably make it work!

I haven’t started yet but I’m planning to have only white and pink flowers of every kinda you can get, and one section of black flowers.

I keep tulips and roses only for aesthetic reasons. I like the way they look better when there?s some sort of pattern going
Either same type of flower, or same color.
My village has purple tulips around all the paths, and then there?s black roses and tulips within my forestry parts off of the paths. There?s a few orange tulips around for contrast, too!

I actually only have roses in my town. They're my favorite haha!

If I only had a couple of flowers in my town, I would probably do lilies, maybe pink and white. Another option I would do would be roses and carnations. Those three flowers, along with the pink and white color is my favorite and I don't think I would get tired of those either, but I still prefer to have all flowers in my town for variety.

Yep, I did this with once. My town was called Rosepool, so I thought it would be better to have only roses. It was a idea that I came up with when I was working on a theme for my town. I basically walk everyday through my town and check out if there are any flowers which aren't roses, pick those up and throw them away then. I kinda liked it that way actually.
