So I haven't had any people in my town, but I've had a lot of my flowers just disappear. Like, out of nowhere. I have beautiful town ordinance and never have had this happen before.
So I had saved my game and time traveled to the next day so I could finish my public works, and I had two golden roses gone, 9 blue pansies, a lot of random flowers in a patch. Some roses and a baby tree cut down?? Can that happen! I was growing a perfect apple tree when there was a stick? Like a tiny stump. I'm not sure what that was. And my only durian tree was to a stump. And I also had two orange pansies gone. I'm not sure what else is missing but that's what I know of.
Is there like, any logical explanation for this?! Someone please help me!
That's pretty wild. I mean, once one of my pink carnations disappeared and I had no idea where it went. I'd never played with another player at that point, so I thought maybe I accidentally ran over it? Maybe I dug it up? But maybe it disappeared too (that's what I like to think because I had to have been at least aware of doing the other two things, right???)
I can only come to the same conclusion as Random: that it's just a random and unfortunate bug. It's very inconsistent. The only flowers that are supposed to disappear over time are dandelions. Otherwise, with BTO on, you shouldn't be losing any.
You're absolutely sure you have BTO? You didn't switch it for a day for any reason and forget to switch it back?
Also to debunk a few things before they come up:
-villagers cannot trample nor pick up/move flowers.
-there is no "flower limit" that will randomly make your flowers disappear. Trust me I would have hit it about 300 flowers ago. Easily.
Also absolutely nothing explains the trees. That's weird as heck. You don't have anyone else in your house who plays the game do you? Maybe someone could've moved things around or axed a few trees and you didn't notice until you TT'd.
