Flower seeds

Hello!
I'm trying to collect all flowers, but I've been checking everyday the seed available at Nook Cranny (and from Leaf whenever he visits), and I've never seen any roses. Do you know if for every island, you have your native flower, an alternate flower that you encounter on certain mystery island, and also a flower that is only available via online trading (and mine happen to be roses)? Or do I have to be patient and Nook or Leaf will eventually carry them?

I'm not sure on the answer to your question, but I do have 10 white rose seeds and 7 yellow rose seeds that I don't need if you would like them!

I believe all the flowers eventually show up but it's tied to different months / seasons

Yes. Apart from your native flower and sister flower (mystery island), the additional seeds that Nook's Cranny offers will vary every month. Leif will sell the other variations.

My native is lily. My sister flower is tulip. Back in March, Nook's Cranny had pansy and very rarely, hyacinth. Then come April, it sold windflowers and very rarely, roses. Then Leif showed up with cosmos and mums, along with other flowers. Leif's selection varies and I think it is independent and separate with what Nook's Cranny sells.

Thanks for the info and for the offer for the extra rose seeds (I don't have a lot of time right now, but I may on take up on it later if it is still available). And I guess I will continue to check the flower selection from Leif/Nook
