Same one as last thread but Incase you didn?t see it:

Hi guys. Remember the girl who recreated her town and decided to make her new town based around food a year ago?Well that was me. If you don?t know me hi, my mayor is named chef, and my town if Bistro. Too long of intro let?s move on?

Anyways I have this little area of town where I want to put a clock and two fountains (I wasted so much money due to the placement of those fountains but that is besides the point). At first I wanted a illuminated clock, but now that I realize it, the clock will only light up at night. It is kind of dull in the daytime to be honest. But when it lights up at night ITS SO PRETTY :O .

My other option is to try to get a perfect town and then achieve the flower clock. The flower clock (in my opinion) looks great at all times during the day. But it doesn?t light or at night, so it wouldn?t be emphasizing that little area of town (then again, it?s the flower clock, and there are already two fountains in that area). But tbh I kind of wish that the clock had a different species of flower in it (not pansies) (please don?t attack me y?all this ain?t the controversial opinions thread)

Please help me

-Mayor Chef of Bistro (my signature isn?t showing up)

I'll repost what I posted in the other topic. :)

The flower clock does have crap flowers but it's much nicer, and 'town friendly' than the illuminated clock.

The flowers on the flower clock are actually very pretty (in my opinion) if you have warm colors surrounding it and the same flowers around the area somewhere. I have one flower clock in all three of my towns and LOVE it.. I’d say if you’re not planning to set the time of day for your DA/town at night, then don’t do the other clock. Use the streetlights to emphasize the greenery of your town. The illuminated clock is very pretty with baby pink and blue tones in the late spring/early summer though, or in winter with lots of red and white accents.

It depends on if you play a lot at night or not, I personally love the illuminated pwps (they take up a lot of my town's project slots). They don't negatively affect your town if you build other projects to balance it out. And if you use flowers that compliment the colour of the project it can really stand out!

i love the illuminated pwp series, but they look awful during the day. cherry-blossoms brings up a great point about when you play. if you play at night, i vote illuminated! if you play at all times during the day, it's probably not a great idea.

Ideally, it depends on how often you play at night to really see the full effect of the illuminated clock. Personally, that would be the one to go with. You did make a valid point about the clock during the day though. As I've just finished typing this, I took a glimpse at the above comments, and can verify that this would probably be the best point to consider with everybody else making the same suggestion.

Needless to say, it's entirely up to you. Do what you thinks best. All the luck to you! :)
