So uh a new villager moved in today and

She literally put her house exactly in the empty space between my roses
look how close she is to my black roses! One more space and she'd have annihilated them! I guess public works projects aren't always enough lmao

have you ever had your plants ruined by a villager's house?

Lucky you, Diana and Phoebe moved there house right on top of my orchard of hybrids. I didn’t even know they were moving in, for some reason my game is weird like that and some villagers somehow are already moved in without me knowing? Not sure why it does that lmao but yeah my hybrids are dead. Well, off to re-breeding them haha

which villager is she? i'm sure she's going to be a sweetie in town :)

It's Ruby! This was my first villager that I got via the Villager Trading Plaza on TBT
I like how her face is kind of stupid but also cute. She's a welcome addition to my town :)

oof
It could be because of time traveling if you do that a lot. I've been time traveling to try and speed up the rose breeding process and one of my villagers moved away several days early and another one moved in immediately instead of like building their house and being in boxes for a day.

Maybe there's like a counter for how many days it takes to move in and time traveling messes with it?

omg ruby was one of my starters in my very first town and i've kept her ever since- she's still living in mistvale. you're definitely going to love her! she's so cute! <3

That was close! You might want to move the rose right in front of her door, that will disappear once she moves in fully.

I had my original plot of orange roses that I had grown all on my own destroyed by a villager moving in.
I literally had a ton of open space in the rest of the town, and placed my orange roses next to my Zen Garden PWP. I thought they would be safe.. lol. I checked the next day and this villager moved RIGHT next to the PWP where I had placed all my roses. So much preparation lol :(

For me I usually get irked when they move too close to bushes/trees that I've planted. Granted it's my own fault for not placing paths down after somebody moved out but... Gosh darnit, those saplings and Holly starts aren't easy to come by!

For me it was Tiffany! She moved in right in front of my plants that i was growing into apple trees! :(

Close call! That was some luck.

I moved my hybrids down to my beach to breed so I didn't have to worry about them getting wiped out with villagers plotting in my town. But I have had a few villagers plot over my completed landscaping because I missed laying down a pattern or two to protect them. Antonio plotted near my campfire, took down a couple trees and bushes, and most importantly a special stump that I had reset so many times to get. Then, just this week, I had a mishap while moving Anicotti in and she plotted near my zen garden, taking out some bamboo, bushes, blue and purple roses, and blue violets.

Yes i have i'm sure. I can't remember an exact incident but i'm sure someone had ruined my flowers before. It's usually just my fruit trees though fortunately.

Woah, you can do that? I didn't know flowers would grow on the beach
**** maybe I should be doing that instead of placing signs all around my town to protect my plants lmao
