I finally have build enough Pwp's to reach a perfect town rating. At least, I think it's a perfect town because Isabelle suggested a Town Hall renovation and a Flower clock. At the same time, while not having weeds or junk, I do have many wilted flowers. Won't they ruin the perfect town rating, or should I water them asap?

Also, if I choose to renovate the Town Hall, will I receive a new project to turn it back to it's original state?

Wilted flowers are totally safe to have in your perfect town.
You can re-renovate your town hall at any time. All the exteriors will be on your PWP list, including the default one :)

Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm wondering if anyone knows how the perfect town rating is maintained?

I achieved perfect town status quite unexpectedly last week, but after a few days I think it was gone. Isabelle informed me the resident's feedback on their happiness was "so-so". I had not changed my town drastically (i.e. chop down trees, or laid more paths) so I was a little confused as to what had gone wrong.

Have a certain amount of PWP's (10)
Maintain the amount of trees you had that got you the perfect town rating, so don't chop any. Have a certain amount of flowers, and make sure there's less than 10 weeds each day and no garbage on the floor

What was Isabelle's comment?
Did any villagers move out after you achieved perfect town? That could be it. Villager houses appear to be counted as PWPs in this context.

Isabelle commented that the residents felt the town was 'riding on the so-so rails', which was the feedback I had last received before achieving the perfect town status. I had 10 residents and none have moved; I did not chop down any trees, nor remove any flowers but I did continue to build PWPs (signs and bench). I generally keep an organized town, I don't leave items on the ground and I clear the fossils and weeds daily.

If Isabelle holds the perfect town speech before I go to sleep, but the next day suddenly complains about something that I can fix during the day, will it still count as 2 perfect days or does the 15-day period start over?

It kind of shucks that someone will move-out in 4 days...

That's the quote from another character. What does Isabelle say after that? She should be mentioning what's keeping your town from being perfect.

Mine still tells me that the residents feel it's underdeveloped and want more PWPs - but I'm nearly at 30! I even deleted some benches and put other things in case it was because of that =/

i had this before. it was because i didn't have a good balance of trees and PWP's. cut down all my trees and replanted 10-12 in each acre and got a perfect town.

Not all Pwp's are considered good for a perfect rating, a garbage can for example will decrease villagers rating of your town. I only have the police station, roost, 3 bridges, bench and the round climbing fence. And a campsite, if that counts.

Interesting, I have been planting new ones but still have spaces so will plant more and see! Thanks.

Hmmm, I have the garbage can in both towns but Hobbiton got it's perfect rating pretty quickly! I might try removing it in Eternia and putting it back after I get perfect.

From what I've read, the campsite does count.

Hmm, so it's because the balance between the PWPs and the trees were thrown off when I continued building PWPs but did not keep up with tree planting?

I'll plant more trees and we'll see what happens!

A friend spammed its town with almost all standard Pwp's and got a perfect rating before I did. We both have a large quantity of flowers though spread over 40% of the town. Hybrid flowers are said to contribute a lot to the positive rating.

I planted 6 more fruit trees and 2 pine trees two days ago.

This morning, a Jacob's Ladder popped up by the cliff!

I've been storing junk on the ground overnight in order to sell to Reese, and I've had some stuff on the ground for a while that I've been trying to trade to a guy on another site. Well, I talked to Isabelle, and the residents feel like they live in landfill. RAGE. I picked every item up and we'll see if I'm back to perfect. I probably haven't been perfect in a while because of my laziness. I took everything that I had on the ground (minus trade stuff) and just threw it away since I would get peanuts for it at Re-Tail anyway. And, I'm just storing the trade stuff in inventory. I'm beautiful ordinance, so weeds don't hurt me. Plenty of flowers and trees. We'll see if I'm back in the town's good graces tomorrow.

I've had a perfect town for ~5 months in game now.

I have 106 trees (mix of bell trees, fruit trees and normal trees)
70 Bushes
27 Bamboo
and hundreds of flowers.

When I achieved perfect status, I had:
Camping Cot
3 Bridges
Sandbox
Water Well
Fountain
Tire Toy
Climbing Frame
Stone Tablet
Fence
Campsite

Since then, I've added:
Hammock
Metal Bench
Street lamp
Water Pump
Illuminated Arch
Lighthouse
Round Topiary
Square Topiary x2
Tulip Topiary
Flower Clock

It just takes time and effort :3 Keep planting and don't throw stuff on the ground!

Stuff on ground = bad. I cleared it all up and now I'm back to perfect. I was hoping that would trigger my final Gracie check (after all, why would she come to a town described as a landfill), but Crazy Redd was in town instead. :( Oh, well. I need the arts.
