I have a huge waterfall at my entrance, but the issue with elevated land near the front is that... Well... It affects visibility because of the height, haha!
I keep most of my cliffs at the back of my island. I like elevated areas a lot though
i think about 90% of my island is flat land, i don't really have a lot of cliffs. i do have some cliffs at the bottom, but they're mostly for decorative purposes
I think about half of my island is cliff right now? I'm trying to expand my cliffs a bit while still kind of keeping my island the same as the original map. I think I am failing at that
I'm really not sure how much flat land and cliffs I have. I feel like cliffs were mostly always in the mid to back section of towns in previous Animal Crossing games, but I'm still working on my island, so I'm still figuring out where I want to put cliffs and have flat land.
Probably 65/45 I have not done too much terraforming yet to my island, I have gotten ridden of a little bit of cliffage but overall not much to the default.
I'm still playing with my ratios tbh but am leaning more towards a good chunk of third tier cliffs because the hourly music is a little overly loud for me in game, so the way being on that tier mutes the music is perfect for me.
I'd say my island is around 60% flatland. I wanted to make it so the middle tier of cliff would be the primary level, but I like my layout a little too much to do all that.
the majority of my town is elevated! only the bottom right section is ground level, but then i have stairs going up to make a flat town on the second level. i only use the third level to put fences on for taller walls, street market areas, etc
for me i wanted a more natural vibe so i have my main buildings and plaza on flat land and then surrounding it is my villager homes in 3 flat land masses and behind those houses are my cliffs where i have 2,3, and 4 tier cliffs all around the back and by where my house is
