Fishing Tourney WTF??? (Has this happen to anyone else)

So i TT and it's the March Fishing Tourney. The dude says to get cruian carps, and i'm like cool. Can do!
I give him one that is 9.50in aka. i become first place.

30mins pass

I go to check to see if anyone has beaten me and he says yes Julian has with one that is 9.25in...
....
WHAT!? My fish was the bigger one but it screwed up says Julian's fish was bigger when it wasn't.
Has this happened to anyone else???

Yes i'm sure i asked him 3times and Julian had 9.25, and i looked at my book of catched fish and it says 9.50in.

That's what i'm just gonna have todo. I just wonder if anyone else had this experince.

No I didn't TT Back to the tourney, i onlt TT forwards. And i've accepted that i'll only be getting 2nd or 3rd

You could have read your number wrong then. Your menu book tells you the biggest length of that fish you have caught, ever. Not your recent fish size.

One minute before the fishing tournament ended I was in first place. Stood by the tent.
When we went inside a villager magical gave a higher fish. He must have been invisible.
It worked out in the end. I needed a silver fishing trophy.

Julian just caught a bigger carp again, because someone told him that you beat his record! The Artificial Intelligence seems to be very good in this game

This exact thing happened to me just now. I'm in November 21st 2015 tourney. I forwarded time to 5:50pm and I had caught a 9.50 crucian carp like he asked. I was first place then when the tourney ended, Fuchsia beat me with a 9.25 inch. Like da heck!?

time traveling can do wonders you know. a villager once invited me to their house so I tted the the time they set just to find them hanging outside and when I talked to them it's like it never happened lol
