Fishing for Ideas

I've made a few towns now and I've run dry of creative ideas. I'm looking for inspiration rather than instructions. Anyone here able to help me out?

I always watch WiiFolderJosh on Youtube. He has this series called Dream Diary and he visits different town via the dream suite. Most of these towns are pro so you can totally get decorating ideas from watching the videos. Check it out!

I don't mean to push my dream codes at you, but one of my favorite things to do on this game is to come up with unique rooms that Iv'e never seen done before.You can visit my two towns in my sig.and I have some really fun rooms in my Critters town.4100-4429-4465.

I have an idea!!!!! Maybe you should do one on Egypt. You know, pyramids and stuff. Put sand patterns on the ground. You call the river the "Nile River"

I'd say if you have an itch to do something, and it seems you do, then just try it out. You can always change your mind if it doesn't seem to be as fun as you thought. But give it a chance. Honestly, a lot of people do the same types of towns, but then they put their own spin on it and it's interesting to see their version. Also, like others suggested, if you can dream of towns, that's always helpful. I dreamt of LOTS and LOTS of towns when I first started (and even now)...if anything, it helped me to see what I didn't like as much as ideas that I did like. And if you can't dream, cuz you don't have the game, there are lots of youtube videos where people dream, or show off their town, etc.
