Fish fishing rod?

It says it's sold in the shop...but is this during a certain season? I feel like I only ever see the outdoorsy and colorful show up.

Have you upgraded your shop yet? It’s sold in the upgraded shop you get a month after opening it (if you play a ton). It might be in a different color but if you prefer green it can be customized. It also cycles through other designs (outdoorsy and colorful)

Yep it's been upgraded. I've only seen colorful and outdoorsy cycle. Strange, maybe just bad luck on rotation for mine. Thank you for the info.

I’ve only ever seen colorful and outdoorsy fishing rods sold in Nook’s too. I have bought the fish fishing rod from other islands though. Maybe it’s bad RNG but I just noticed that as well

I think I actually have the purple fish fishing rod right now left over from when I reset. It does show up. Just not often.

I also feel like I see this one less than the outdoorsy and colorful. Which is too bad, cause I like it the best I think. Mine is red by default?

Did you guys know everybody's upgraded shop tools have a different default color? You can customize them all, of course, but I was shocked to see another island's shop selling a star net that wasn't yellow. (The best and correct color, imo)

yeah that one seems to show up less frequently than the others - i get that one in the shops maybe once or twice a week ;u;
