First villagers interiors

So, I resetted my island and I'm now at the point where I can go to mystery islands to get my first move-in (besides the starter villagers).

It's known that the first (I believe 5) villagers don't have their original furniture, but what if I would adopt one who had their original furniture?

Does anyone know if the game would still change it to one of the beginning interiors?​

i believe that starter villagers do get their original houses if they’re adopted by other players c:

I don't think you can adopt villagers before you get your first 5, as the first 5 have set personalities.

That's right, but what if the villager I adopt is a starter villager on my island but not on the other player's?

Then I'll better pick villagers (on mystery islands) I wouldn't mind letting go
