Pokémon First Shiny?

In fifteen years of playing the games I've never caught one. The only shiny I ever saw in-game was Hippowdon, but I accidentally ran because I was trying to catch a Beldum.

My first and only shiny I've seen (aside of the red Gyrados) was a shiny Shinx in my Pearl game! (would've been nicer if it was in my Diamond version but c'est la vie) I used it in my team too =) yay Luxray.

My first shiny ever was a zubat in Emerald from what I can remember. Thought it was weird how it glittered and just caught it.
I've caught many more after that

My first ORAS SHINIES are both Mudkip and Torchic when picking starters

My first shiny I ever encountered was a Bidoof. I didn't even know it was a shiny at all, so I fainted it. I still remember where I found the shiny, route 211, West side. The first shiny I caught I can't remember. A Deerling maybe?

My first shiny was a patarat in white, I didn't know what a shiny was at that time but thought it was cool and caught it. Later on I reset my white and lost it, oh well, now a days I hunt them, I'm looking for a shiny ralts right now.

Shiny Treecko in Sapphire. It's now a Sceptile, being used to this day on my Pokemon X team. However, the first one I caught in the wild was a Shiny Rhyhorn in the Leaf Green Safari Zone. That was a ***** to catch, too.

Assuming the red gyarados doesn't count my first was a polywag, I was just catching them over and over in this one spot and having my abra thunderpunch them to level him up and it sparkled, it was a barely noticeable difference in color but it was still pretty cool.

My first shiny ever caught was a shinx in Diamond. I gave him the very cheesy name of Sparky. I was 10 at the time and at first I dismissed it, but then wondered why he was the only pokemon I had that sparkled. By the time he was a luxray, I finally decided to research it. He's been my closest companion in all my games now. It's weird to say, but I have a close bond with him and to know my bond with him is 7 years old just makes me happy.

Plus it was so awesome to have him in my X as he smiled when I first saw him in Amie. He's by far not my strongest pokemon, but he plays his part in battles and he makes me proud every time. ^_^
