First hair-raising experience in AC

The first thing I usually do when I load up the game is to hunt for the fossils and the money rock so I can get those chores out of the way.

Today, I saw my first centipede crawling out from a rock. I had such a fright that I was tempted to just let it go.



Gah, it really gave me the creeps!

Mine was when I saw the tarantula for the first time. I didn't know anything about them. I didn't even know they were in the game. I just saw it crawling around one summer night. I caught it with the net right away, but once I realized what it was, I had a bit of a fright!

When I realized a tarantula or scorpion could make your character pass out. Seriously, I wondered what was happening! Also, the first time Apollo asked if he could move, my blood ran cold. I was like, "Heck, no!"

Yeah, tarantula for me too. I just stood frozen when it was near my character's house. I was legit terrified. *^*

I wasn't terrified till the second tarantula. When I saw the first one, I just casually thought I could catch it and pulled out the net. But the second tarantula? I knew it could get me!

This is silly and typical but when I saw Reseti pop up for the first time ;_; (well not in NL) Getting yelled at took a toll on my heart and well being.

For NL, It was when I accidentally told Colton that he could move and then I immediately just restarted and I said no to him moving ;v; I love Colton. I just want Cobb to move.

Yes! He still gets me every time! I walk out of the house, try to equip something, can't figure out why it's not working... Then I take a step and AAAAhhhh! It's Resetti

Mine is also the first time encountering the tarantula.

I just saw this huge black thing run up and start chasing me. I turned, took two steps, and was pounced on by it. The screen went dark, and I was like "OMG, what just happened, I thought you can't die or anything in this game!!"...then it opened back with my character standing in front of the house.

Later read up that it was a tarantula, and that it attacked me because I was hunting beetles at night and had my net out. >.>
Smart bugs, them...to know that a net is bad and will catch them.

My first encounter with a scorpion wasn't as freaky, but it still made me jump. It had been hiding behind some trees (which is apparently odd behavior for them), and so I didn't see it. I didn't know about hissing noises, and usually play with my volume at low or half.
So, I didn't hear it, either.
As I'm walking past the group of trees while looking for another fish by the river, the thing jumps out of seemingly nowhere (from behind the trees), stings, and beats a retreat while the game puts me back at the house.

I know! Right!

On ONE night my character got attacked by 3 tarantulas! 3!!! I didn't even catch one of them.
