Pokémon First ever shiny pokemon?

In what generation did you find your first shiny pokemon?
I'll start by saying that I found my first shiny in black 2. It was a shiny skarmory

Gen IV, a Shinx if I remember correctly. I still kinda remember it, wish I'd kept it longer.

My first shiny was from the egg in Crystal that had a 50% chance of being shiny lmao.. It was a cleffa. I didn't realize it was shiny until years later after I had deleted it from my box

The 4th generation, it was a Bidoof. I accidentally fainted it not knowing that shiny Pokemon existed, guess the shiny Bidoof looks a lot like the original I didn't know it.

But the shiny Pokemon I actually caught was in the 5th generation, it was a Deerling.

mine was a shiny Pidgey I found on Pokemon Fire Red ^^
when I first saw it I didn't know what a shiny Pokemon is and thought is was a glitch XD

Haha. Ratata's are useless though. But there's only one starting rodent that can be for good use, if it has the hidden ability.

That's right! Now he's in Borderline. I was quite surprised to see he's in Borderline OU. But Azumarill is the true Huge Power Pokemon alright.

First random shiny: shiny weedle in FireRed.

My first one was a Geodude in Sapphire which I failed to catch because I didn't have any Pokeballs. Not counting the Red Gyarados, my first obtained would be Meditite. It was my first encounter of Meditite in Diamond so I thought they had changed the sprite color, but it had sparkles.

Aside from the shiny Gyarados, my first shiny was a Tangela at Mt. Silver. And i killed it like a moron.

But I used a cool glitch to get a shiny Ditto, so that made up for it. Sorta.
