Fingernail marks in my circle pad. How do I get rid of them?

I let my friend use my 2DS to play Mario Kart and she left fingernail indentations that won't go away. It's uncomfortable to use to me now. What should I do? Would Nintendo replace it? Would it cost a lot?

I have a lot of fingernail marks on my 3DS circle pad because for some reason I play with my fingernail sometimes? Not sure why... but I know it was from me... It's never been uncomfortable for me, but I'm honestly not sure how to fix it.

I'd suggest contacting Nintendo to see how much it'll cost to get it replaced. The material is fairly hard and will keep that shape now. And next time your friend asks to play a game, tell her to bring her own system.
