Anyone else finding it super hard to find their low tier villagers?
I mean; wanting Marshal, Merengue, Ankha, Stitches, Diana etc is super easy to achieve, as threads pop up every day it seems with these villagers
I've been searching for Mint and can't find her anywhere -.-
When i've cycled enough for Lyman, i bet he willl be even harder to find
Any villagers you're struggling to locate?

Seeking Joey and Kiki atm. I check the cycling threads often to see who they have in their towns, but none have them. I'll keep an eye out for Mint and alert you if I see her somewhere.

I always take Lurkers for all tier 6 villagers, and check the LF thread every so often just in case.... like now, I'm trying to convince Miranda to move in from campsite for someone

It is very difficult as the low tiers generally get auto voided. Your best wet is to state on each cycling thread that you're lurking for whichever villager you want at the time. That way they can let you know if Mint or somebody comes up in their town.

I never autovoid villagers, because I know they're people looking for them and then I'll feel awful when I do end up voiding a villager.

Yeah.. I had the same issues before but, yeah better lurk and/or ask to reserve if you're up to that or post in the "Looking for" thread and people could probably contact you about it :]

Also I had quite the TBT so I paid for them as well :P

Finding low-tier villagers is a nightmare. It took me close to a year to finally find someone giving away Gaston.

I usually try to rehome every villager who moves out because I know a lot of people are looking for low-tiers and in a sea of threads for Marshal or Ankha or Julian, it can be next to impossible to find the "undesirables".

Yeah. :( I noticed that Tucker is in tier 6 and I know I'll have trouble finding him sadly, but I always look in the cycling threads/post in the official looking for thread to have at least a chance even if it's little. :)

I stalk the cycling, giveaway and selling threads and post in the looking for thread. Usually I find someone with a villager I want in a reasonable amount of time.

Eh... I like a lot of bottom-tier villagers. I used to look for Ken but it's such a pain to look for him so I gave up. Eventually he's going to show up in my campsite just like Snake right?

Websites outside TBT (like Tumblr or Reddit) got some lower-tier villagers up for trade, but they can be very hard to keep track with. Especially in my case, because I play/I'm active at the time when most players are asleep. TBT's Villager Trading Plaza do have a couple of bottom tier villagers for sale/up for grabs, and I think cycle towns offer a variety of villagers you can reserve. I haven't tried getting a villager from a cycling town so I ain't sure.

But the easiest (imo) way would be the campsite reset trick. Cross your fingers and hope that you're gonna get that sweet, sweet unpopular villager for a few number of resets because talking to Rover and Porter is exhausting.

People give away villagers constantly on reddit.

That's where I got Patty, Gayle, Julian, Bones, Genji, Tia, Willow, Whitney, and a couple others that I can't remember. Someone gave me Julian for free, you just have to lurk and be quick at replying when those threads show up.
I've also given away plenty of villagers there.

It's all about timing, really. I've had some major trouble selling Tier 1-3's while a Tier 5 sparked interest almost immediately.

I'd just make a buying thread about your low tier dreamie. Some natural player might see your thread and offer you your dreamie.
