Finally found my town ♥

After a couple days of resetting here and there, I finally found my dream town. ^^ My native fruit is Apples, which is what I wanted, the buildings aren't on top of each other, I have a 'teardrop pond' (I really wanted one), and a really cool secluded cove-type location to put my house in. My neighbors are Doc, Yuka, Flurry, Curt, and I think the last one is Mott. I can't remember. I can't check either because of where I am currently. I'll confirm this later. xD But. Yeah. I absolutely adore it to pieces. Update: I do not have Mott, lol, the 5th villager is actually Agent S. She's adorable!

I'm just so excited to start playing. I got the game last week and haven't been able to play once yet. I've been so busy with real life, and school shopping, and spending time with my family because my brother leaves for college in 8 days.. It's just been hectic. And the time I did get to play ACNL, I was restarting. Why? Because I've read stories on here about people who chose 'the wrong map' and ended up regretting it later, but couldn't reset because it was just too late. So I knew I had to have one I really like.

It was completely worth it, too. I'm so happy. ^^ <3 I do feel like I'm a bit alone though, haha, because I'm so far behind everyone who got their games in June. x3 But it's whatever. I'm just glad to have it now.

I also had AC:NL for my birthday and I ended up resetting for a couple of weeks and found what I like for a map. You'll get there man, and your town will grow quicker than you expect. Also, if you need some silver tools to start you off I have plenty which i'm saving up for giveaways.

Thanks Jez! And yeah, if I didn't read this site beforehand, I wouldn't have put any thought into my map. But I think it's really cool when people can take a seemingly 'wrong' map and turn in into a gorgeous town. It's impressive, really.

Congratulations! It took me roughly 9+ hours and 300 restarts to get my "perfect" map. To this day I am still very glad I kept resetting until I was perfectly happy with it. Got my cliff-side house, re-tail near dock, center town tree and a pirate shore.

Hehe, nice. I'd be willing to add you and help you out. I just finished resetting yesterday, because I was one of the people who absolutely hated their map, and now I've found my dream location. ^-^ So yeah, don't worry, you're not alone. I'm right by you XD

@Puddle: It's the first week or two that's the hardest, especially when restarting, because you gotta unlock shops, and befriend neighbors, and get the town development permit.. So much worrkkk lololol

I found out I don't have Mott, lol, false alarm. I actually have Agent S instead. :3 I must have got Mott confused with her because he was in a town I found shortly before I found this one.

Yeah, definitely worth the wait. :3 I squeed with joy when I finally found my town.

Also, for the picture, if you want a best quality one, wait until you get a 100% approval rating for your construction permit, if you haven't gotten it already. Then, ask Isabelle to demolish a project, and a picture of your town map pops up on the top screen, allowing you to snap a pic that isn't blurry or lop-sided or too dark/bright.

Then you can upload it directly from the 3DS onto something like tinypic or photoshop. Or here, but that's not the best way to do it.

Wowww I wish I'd put that much thought into choosing my town! Congratulations though! Your town looks beautiful!

I have to say my town river pattern is a bit odd but I think I made it work! I'm happy with where the building are and I wanted lots of ponds (going against lots of peoples' advice!). The only thing I wish I had were apples instead of pears, but I still think the perfect/golden pears look pretty cool! The rocks in my town are in the worst places ever though -.- But yeah, I'm very happy with my town and villagers ^^
