Final Fantasy XIII now live on Steam!

Only 2 things wrong with this version:
It's locked at 720p.
FPS is 60 during normal gameplay, but 30FPS during cutscenes.
For most people, this wont matter.

Trolls. It's not a bad game. It's not even a bad port. It could be better, but purposefully tanking the reviews to discourage the game being purchased is just going to cause Square-Enix to not release anymore of their games on the PC platform. At the very least we could be sending in feedback to help them with future releases.

No one said it WASNT a bad port.
It's a great game, but a terrible port.

Eh, people probably like it. I had friends who absolutely demanded I play it. And I did! I tried it a bit when it first first came out. And I was revolted. Then I tried it after they "fixed it" like 2 years later, and I was still revolted. After I hit like level 35 or whatever and couldn't handle the horrible game play, evil players and general nonsense any more, I begged all my buds to switch over to a fun game. When they all refused our gaming group disbanded. Maybe I'm just bitter.

To be fair though, they did turn FFXIV around. It's pretty awesome now. And their adding 2 new classes pretty soon.

ANYWAY.
Enjoying the hell out of XIII on Steam even though I already own the entire trilogy on PS3 already. I was planning to play it again anyway.

Yeah, I was planning to replay the entire trilogy for the summer. I managed to break my XBOX playing Lightning Returns... great.

A good thing is that the trilogy is coming to steam by Spring 2015, so that's a good alternative if my XBOX can't be fixed.

That's wonderful for us who don't have 360s or PS3s.
I borrowed my friend's 360 so I could play XIII and I really enjoyed it.
