Final Fantasy 4

so... I have FF3, and I love it. I really like how you can choose the jobs of each character.

Is there anything like this in FF4? Or are all the characters in a perminent class?
Nope, all the characters have a set class.

It was Final Fantasy II on the SNES, I played it then.

FF4 (or 2, whichever) is the best in the series in my opinion. It is absolutely amazing, and the remake for the DS made it even moreso. The only real competition it has is 8, I can't decide whether 4 or 8 is better, they're both outstanding games.

You can't change the Jobs, but as annoying as that sounds it works quite well, the main character Cecil, starts out with one of my favorite jobs also, Dark Knight, he later changes into a Paladin but it's not that bad but I do miss using my life force to cause massive damage.

ok thanks, it wont really bother me, because I got FF1 on the GBA and I loved it, even though you basically keep your classes threw the whole game.
