Filbert-Marshal Dilemma!

Ok, so Filbert is one of my dreamies and Marshal is not. Marshal just moved onto my town by surprise, and he is really cute! Problem is I don't know if I should keep him and remove Filbert from my dreamies, or vice versa! They are both really cute, and I like them pretty equally even though Filbert isn't even close to as popular as Marshal. I am completely set on all my other dreamies (I am very picky with personality, animal type, gender etc.) All I am debating is Filbert or Marshal. What do you think?

keep Marshal for a bit, and when he wants to move let him go and try to get Filbert. Don't trick yourself into liking him just because so many other people like him. I personally think Filbert is way cuter too!

If you have more lazy villagers on your dream team, keep marshal
If you have more smug villagers on your dream team, keep filbert

I prefer Filbert.. But, try Marshal out.. If you like him, keep him! .. If not, do a switch.. Since you have Marshal, there's no harm in seeing what he's like and going from there

I'd go for Filbert but that's only because he is one of my first 5 villagers, so he's special to me.

I had both Marshal and Filbert in my town, but then Filbert moved out.. I still miss him, he's a great dude. He's my second favorite squirrel villager.. first being Marshal. I'd go for both if I were you, since they have different personalities anyway. But in the end it's your own decision, don't look at the popularity charts and just go for the one you like more. c:

I have both in my town and I love them! I think they in terms of looks, Filbert is pretty cute, but Marshal's whole grumpy tiny squirrel thing is just <3 for me. As a male smug, he'll be kind of 'flirty' while still being polite. I love Filbert as a male lazy because he talks abut wanting food all the time and I imagine this little squirrel chowing down (I'm strange, I know)

Ok, thanks everyone! I think I know what I'm going to do now. I will keep Marshal, and when I finally manage to get Filbert, I will keep them both for a little while. After that I will make my decision of who goes and who stays. Personality type doesn't really matter in this case as I'm planning on getting Chadder for a Smug and Bomes for a Lazy, so I could take in either squirrel. As for everyone saying I should auction Marshal off, I totally would other than I always get connection errors with over 90% of the people on here. There are 2 or 3 people I do know that I can connect to, so I might be able to work something out with them. Thanks for everything though!
