So it's Festivale today and I can't find any feathers. How hard is this suppose to be?

Actually I take that back. I have caught three feathers, just not the right color :-/

Talk to your villagers. Sometimes they'll offer to play games with you. You'll either win one of their feathers or they'll win yours. Don't keep the color you're looking for in your inventory. For example: if you're collecting blue feathers and you already have 1 or 2, put them down in the plaza so you won't lose them to anyone. Also, sometimes your villagers will just offer to trade colors.

Really? In my town they are super easy to find. I'm not sure how hard they are suppose to be. hmm...

One thing I've found that really helps me is that, instead of looking in the air for the feathers, I look on the ground for shadows. The shadows stand out more clearly against the snow to me and the feathers kind of get lost in the confetti.

It also took me a while to get my first feather, and I had to go one by one so that the villagers would trade the desired feather or proposed a game, but I got quite a lot in the end.

You usually start to get the hang of it after catching 1 or 2 feathers. I usually catch feathers of the colour i'm not looking for when my inventories full, and then place them down so if Pave asks for them later I can hand them to him/her.

If you have loads of every feather but the one that Pav? is asking for, 'save & quit' then re-enter your town as that will re-randomise the requested colour.
