You can, but the odds of me getting him twice are low. (If they get him somewhere else though he'd be yours).
Each person can reserve one villager for themselves, but since that's not really that probable, I can make a note of it (as in that you also want Rudy) and you can reserve someone else if you like :3

I lost Punchy when my ds reset but I did the 16 cycle :3 It really sucks to lose villagers, especially when you go through the trouble to get them.
