While play with a couple friends, the idea came up of gender-swapped personality types, essentially.
Sure, you can say the personalities are fitting enough with the genders they're already assigned to, but that doesn't mean there can't be exceptions!
Now, I don't know about your experience with smug villagers, but the one in my town, Chadder, is a total flirt.
During today only, Chadder has called me dreamy, referred to me as "shawty," and asked me to use the shower in his house in two separate ways. Imagine a flirty female fox! (On that note, FOX VILLAGERS!) Although, maybe tone down the romance a bit, we don't want kids playing this game to grow up into furries because of one particularly racy villager. (it's just a joke!!! c: )
My friend brought this up, Julian is practically the perfect fit to be a male snooty villager. Also, in the Japanese version, Gracie is male. Is there a single character more snooty than Gracie?? I want co-ed groups that are gossiping about everyone else!
I don't really know how to verbalize why we need female cranky villagers, but I'm sure you all can picture it yourselves. It's just... right. You know?
