Fellow flower enthusiests!

I have quite a number of hybrids with a nice breeding ground for them.(this is my second start at hybrids, not going into detail). Anyway i was wondering if anyone has the hybrid thats very elusive and just wont sprout? I have all the roses seceral even! But then there are those that wont pop up! Like purple pansies(0) and oranage tulips(1)....anyone else have that hybrid that just wont show?!

for purple pansies to show up, i think you have to use orange pansies that spawned from blue pansies

and, i think you're just a bit unlucky with orange tulips. if you want quite a bit of them, perhaps only water the red and yellow tulips?

Yeah, i know how to make them haha they just dont show i have one so far. Maybe ill try the watering just red and yellow ones.

I am happy to have any hybrids. They are really easy this time around. I saw a pink tulip today and I was excited. I want to make more! I played WW the most and never had to many hybrids.

This might sound like a really stupid question but how do you make hybrids? Lol.
I played WW but didn't get that into it, I got sick of cockroaches appearing if I didn't play for a day or two. Now I play NL every day!

Basically, you arrange your flowers in pairs (or more) and if they are compatible, they might produce a new flower of another colour (or the colour of one of the parent flowers OR a colour of a parent of the parent flower and possibly even further back). I'm wary of posting a link to a guide, because frankly I don't know which are accurate.

Ah i have noticed villagers planting and watering more when I went Beautiful Town.

I just discovered carnations.
Their SO PRETTY! Trying to breed more now off the ones I bought from someone.

I have a TON of red carnations that I managed to breed but now im desperate for a pink or a white one to breed other colors...

I haven't done much with hybrids yet, I worked hard in CF and had a townful of hybrids -- so I kind of needed a break. I'm just starting to cultivate them seriously.

I definitely do not seem to be getting them as fast as I did in CF, but I've read that having a beautiful town ordinance hinders hybrids, so that could be my problem. It could also be totally random. My villagers plant flowers like crazy and that could slow down new flowers too.
