I'm not 100% that this thread goes here so yeah. XD

Hi! My town is far from being finished, but I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me feedback on it. I'm looking for info on:
- flower patterns
- Spacing
- pwps
-anything else really
I'm also planning on getting rid of Miranda, pierce and Curt.

My dream address is 6A00-00D8-EA27 and my town name is Animalia.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to do this :)

I'll take a look! Can't guarantee my advice is the best because I'm still slightly lost when it comes to making my own town look good, but I'll give it a try.

Okay, so I checked it out!
First impression was that it had a cozy feel to it, which I liked a lot.
Path placement was done well, although it would've been nice if you had worked WITH the placement of the rocks rather than against them, though I'm well aware of how difficult that can be lol.
Some of the color combinations were kinda mismatched in my opinion, for example; the bushes you had placed around the entrance of the caf? were a much warmer shade of green than the flower arch, which I thought looked kinda off. Maybe that's my own personal love for color coordinating, but I think it would be really great if you create a more structured pattern with your flowers, such as within one flower bed you have whites and lighter pastels, warm ones in another one and cool ones in a third, unless you like having them scattered around a bit of course.
I do think your lilies/tulips looked very pretty together right to the left of the rightmost bridge, though!
As for PWPs, it's a bit tough to see which projects in partciular would look good in certain areas, once again because of the flowers having all types of different shades.
The paths were laid out very nicely, that was very well done.
All in all I think it's definitely getting somewhere, and is very cozy already, keep at it!

I'm so used to my town and I didn't even think of some of the things you said (e.g bushes not matching) so I really appreciate your opinion. :D

You're welcome! It's always a breath of fresh air to hear someone else's opinion. Hope I could help! :)

I can totally come and visit now, I just booted up my game for the day. I also like visiting DA's; it's interesting see what other players create. Would you mind visiting my town as well? I also really need some feedback because I need to get rid of a few PWP's (I'm at the limit).

My DA is in my sig <3

Also, I'll post here again when I'm finished looking at your town :3

I had a look a couple of hours ago and didn't get the chance to write this up.

I like the overall general aesthetic of it and the paths are very cute. I agree with above, that I'm not the biggest fan of paths that incorporate rocks instead of moving around them, but that's personal preference and again, also hard to do sometimes. I also found it a little aesthetically displeasing that the paths come to a rough stop, instead of closing them off with two corner pieces, like a round the plaza for example. Which I know is sometimes a sacrifice you have to make unless you want to cover the entire plaza with pattern, but I found it a bit jarring. I like all the flowers, but I also agree with earlier comments, that it's a big disorganized on the color scheme front, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I would just find it odd when walking by pink and white flowers to find a blue rose in the middle of them. I think a more "artfully cluttered" look would help with this, picking out a color that matches the scheme enough but is still a bit different and throwing a few in there. I liked the PWPs you had, but I think I feel like I'm missing trees? I think there's also more that can be done with the beach, but it's not that big of deal, so if you left it as is, I don't think it would detract from the town. I enjoyed the outside and even with the criticisms I have, I definitely loved the overall look and feel.

I do have to admit though, that I wasn't particularly impressed with interior design, which is fine since that's personal preference, I just thought the rooms were a bit lacking in the larger house and the two smaller houses are a bit hard to decorate because of their size. I do however love how they look on the outside with the town, so I think the two smaller houses are fine as is to keep the overall aesthetic outside.

We all make our towns how we like and I like that your town looks and feels different than other towns that I've been to. You did a really great job and should be proud of yourself!

Thanks for your opinion. As I said previously, I'm not even near finished with my town (I haven't really even tried with the interior atm XD). Thanks for the ideas, i'll try to finish my flower patterns and make them more colour coordinated. :)

Hi, I checked out your town today and I really liked it. You are obviously into flowers and hybrids in a big way, fantastic display. I personally would prefer more trees and shrubs in the landscaping as this does give height and visual variety but it's what you like that counts.

I can see it's a WIP and that you still have PWPs being built. I like that you have only a few chosen PWPs rather than try to fit in everything. Really you just need some time to organise what you have already done to your town, add to it if you feel you want to and you will have a great town.

Thank you

I agree with some of the other comments.

It would be very easy to have the path not run through the rock. You just have to move the path over to the left a couple of spaces.

I think that all of the flowers are very pretty, but they would look even prettier, if they were arranged according to a color scheme, instead of being randomly placed.
