Just to clarify for the OP's benefit, this is directly from Serebii (June 10's news post).

"For those of you in North America, the Pok?mon Trainer Club Newsletter has started to be sent out with the special serial code for Mew. These are one-time use codes and cannot be used if you redeemed a Mew code from Gamestop earlier in the year.These codes will expire on August 31st 2016 so be sure to download your Mew while you still have a chance."

This is the same Mew as from the event back in February, but the code origins and expiration date are different.

Yeah, I bought one that had the same expiration date a day ago from someone else and it still worked, so, it hasn't expired people!
