Features you like that were added into New leaf!

Okay, so I just had the sudden inspiration to make this thread since I always see threads about things you want added into the game, or wish were in the game. So I decided to make this thread a little different and positive! (sorry if this has been done already) For one, what I like that was added into new leaf was the feature of when storing fruit in your pockets you can bundle them up and make a basket to make more storage space. It's incredibly helpful and it's just a cute way of storing fruit too. I remember when I used to play city folk and I was incredibly lazy and poor so I always stripped my town bare of fruit trees and sold them to Nook. So it probably would've been helpful back then because I could've held more fruit.

What features do you like that were added into New leaf?

Definitely PWPs, ordinances, not feeling enslaved to Tom Nook that much in terms of the pressure to upgrade the house, Main Street to visit and the privilege to visit Club Tortimer Island.

I didn't play the other games but others have told me that this is the first you play as mayor, I enjoy that a lot. Playing as my secondary character is kind of boring.

I agree, I feel more free to do whatever I want now that you no longer have to work for him. Although there's still that impending debt to him..

I didn't play the other games but others have told me that this is the first you play as mayor, I enjoy that a lot. Playing as my secondary character is kind of boring.

I actually enjoyed being the resident in past games, although being the mayor is a cool title too. Atleast the animals do acknowledge your title just a little bit but still treat you how they would a resident. But I think it'd be cool if the resident could also work on public works too. Although the mayor is quite the responsibility. But I agree, if we weren't the mayor we wouldn't have characters like Isabelle and Digby.

I like the qr code machine at able sisters, and pwps. I've owned every game available in America, and this is honestly the first time I ever put so much work into making my town look good. It's because of these two things. I can't make paths, so the machine really came in handy for me towards decorating. The pwps add an extra flair and makes everything look more like an actual town! I also love the addition of the dream suite. I enjoy being able to see so many beautiful towns whenever I want!

Idk if it was in the others, i've only played the gamecube and original DS game and i don't remember it. Although what i dont like is you used to be able to redeem these "codes" and get stuff like 99k bells for free and so on and that was cool haha.

The PWPs, the beautiful town ordinance so you can avoid a town full of weeds if you took a break, when the game first came out I loved the island mini games and being able to make a lot of bells catching bugs & sharks

I like being mayor and all the things you can do with him, and that villagers react and call you mayor. I also like storing fruit, but I'd like to be able to do it also with other items.

Honestly I like everything. PWP's and Ordiances make the town more unique than it could be without.
