I first read into the wild in sixth grade when my teacher was giving away free books, and ever since I've fallen in love with the series! The fact that I'm a devout cat lover adds to my enjoyment of it as well. I think the first series is the best, so which book is your favourite (and least if you feel like mentioning it) in this series? Forest of Secrets always had me on my toes, so it's probably my favourite! Fire and Ice is probably my least.

I liked the first two series, read them a few years ago. After that it wasn't really too appealing to me.

I love this series but i stopped reading it after Omen of the Stars finished. The original series was my favorite though with the Power of Three being my least favorite of the bunch. The Darkest Hour was my favorite

Agreed, they got a bit stale after that. The new prophecy was pretty good but the first series will always remain my favourite!

Omg I feel your pain. And the fact that she kept showing up in Fireheart's dreams as the series went on was even more painful... I wish she could come back, I had a feeling that Fireheart's loved her.

Mine is Rising Storm. It has a lot more tension than the past books, and, I really don't know... felt kind of like it developed a lot on the characters.

I'd say the OS was my favourite too. I really felt like the single perspective had a lot more charm than a lot of them for different cats, and it just had more charm overall.

Just curious, but you wouldn't happen to be a member of the Warriors forums, would you?

I just finished reading rising storm today actually! It's spring break where I am so I thought id do a little reading. It's a good one too. And no I'm not, but I feel like I should be! I love this series to death, it was like my second Harry potter.

I think that she was his first love, without a doubt in my mind. I don't really remember the books well now, since I read them in like 6th grade and I'm now a junior in college, but they really were my favorite book series at the time. All of my friends actually read them as well, and at recess we would all play "Warriorcats". God we were all such nerds.

Nothing compares to what happened to Yellowfang ;_;

Well, if you ever join, I'll be looking forward to seeing you around.

Personally, I wouldn't call it a second Harry Potter, but it's my go-to reference when writing about animals, at the very least. I appreciate it for that.

Oh gosh, it's been F O R E V E R since I've read through these books! By the time I made it to the later series, I managed to fall out of my interest before the series wrapped up. Never saw Jaypaw become Jayfeather or anything like that, but I did get to read the "in between" books like Firestar's journey. I loved these books and would definitely read them again. Now that I'm older and moved out on my own, I've acquired my own punky little kitten who reminds me a lot of Fireheart in the first series. I also live in a house with EIGHT cats, and have mentally sorted them all into clans, not gonna lie.

Getting a bit embarrassed remembering my terrible attempts to rp Warriors back in the day. ;; u;;
