I see a lot of people talking about what they dislike about this game, so I thought I'd make a thread where we can talk about what new feature we enjoy in this game.
For me I really enjoy the tool ring. It makes accessing my tools WAY easier (would have loved if it were a tool box item that gave you that ability, so that way my tools could be in ONE slot in my inventory, but ah well...) I also like how we can now customize items OURSELVES instead of having to give the item to Cyrus and wait 30 minutes.
Definitely putting furniture outside. And I really love being able to see all the clothes in your closet and put together an outfit from there. It was such a nightmare to find clothes to wear in New Leaf because you had to pull everything out first, not even knowing what they'd look like, manually try them on with all the icons looking the same, and then put everything back again manually as well. So it's a very welcome change.
I'm new to Animal Crossing so I'm not sure what classes as new features but I'm enjoying buying clothes from Able Sisters and them being sent straight to my home or the clothes I'm currently wearing being sent there. It means I can buy more and not have to worry how much I'm carrying
being able to put furniture outside is my favourite thing, probably - i would’ve loved to be able to do this in new leaf with how many cool items it had ;w;
definitely putting furniture outside. i've been playing new leaf again, and aside from the smaller pockets in that game, it really makes you realize how big of a game changer (AND convenience) it is to display furniture outside. like, i don't really care for terraforming that much unlike most--it's nice & all but i wouldn't consider it the top feature that i like most. and if i have to list a second feature it's the fact that we can see the items/clothes in the storage instead of just seeing the name and pulling it out/displaying it to see what it is. that kind of manual work was so dreadful looking back at it.
The main feature of this game is customising the outside. From decorating the island with furniture of any kind (except wall mounted) to terraforming, you have the ability to custom your island the way you want it. The Island Customisation tool is my favourite, especially the water permit tool.
The only downside to this game is that the house space was downsized and missing QoL features like the megaphone....
