What is your favourite horror film? Mine's gotta be friend request which came out this year. I love the movie because it's set in a modern time and i love modern time movies. The plot itself is quite interesting and the antagonist is mysterious and horrifying. The climax is good too.

conjuring 2. ever since conjuring ive been waiting for a sequel! and of course, conjuring 2 did not disappoint me at all. even better and horrifying than the first one. not to mention valak is scary as ****. also, instead of one demon, theres actually 2 which makes the movie more exciting and heart thumping because go have to watch out for two. conjuring 2 is easily the best horror movie ever to me and it'd probably be my most favorite movie of all time. i watched friend request in the theater and it wasnt that bad as well.

I watched the entire Child's Play series in a week once, and I really enjoyed it. Bride and Seed were really terrible, but Curse made up for it.

Cabin in the Woods is my favorite. I won't say why because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it but wants to.

we all have different opinions on what makes a horror movie truly horrifying. maybe conjuring 2 didnt meet your expectations but it certainly did surpassed mine. i mean, what horror movie has 2 demons ****ing around? maybe there are some but i havent watched them soo..also,the jump scares of course are the same as any other horror movies. they just pop out of nowhere. how can you make a jump scare creative when its all the same action?

2 demons?

I thought the old wan was a good spirit but he was being controlled by valak lol

even tho I must admit it was a film I really enjoyed (the finale and the interview were the best parts IMO), the thing is... scary? not at all, good? for sure

The Evil Dead 2.

The entire trilogy is awesome (though the third isn't as much of a horror).

The reboot can go away. That was awful.

I saw them all for the first time over a week when some channel showed one each day. I thought the first two were the best, three being okay, whilst the rest sort of fell into that category of "they're enjoyable in how awful they are".

That kind of seems to be the 'rule' for most horror movies after a few sequels though.

not really sure if the old guy was bad but he did try to harm the family? even though he's controlled, it still counts as two demons in a movie. As if he wasnt scary enough and theres valak who is even more terrifying. the scene where lorraine warren was alone in a room with a valak painting gave a me a mini heart attack.

I love horror movies! My favourite is definitely Martyrs, I'd really recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it! With the warning that it's a little violent and also in French :)

Edit: but also please watch the French version and not the American version

oh ya, i heard a news that the producers of conjuring 2 are planning for a spinoff on the demonic nun. not sure if its true but if it is, then it'll definitively be one of my favorite horror moves no doubt because valak is kinda scary yet umm...cool? def will be a big fan of the spinoff.

Zombeavers was pretty hilariously awful. As far as actually kinda scary movies go, The Crow's Nest was pretty gruesome.
