I'd have to say Cybernator (Assault Suits Valken) for SNES. I rented it when I was little and sucked at it, but still had fun. I've played and beat it multiple times since then and it never gets old. The music, sprites, backgrounds and gameplay are top notch if you like mecha games. I listen to the soundtrack on a weekly basis because IT'S THAT GOOD. I was kind of disappointed at the remake for PS2, since it was made virtually unplayable by the over-the-top difficulty and the sub-par and segmented music. I love it so much that I imported the model kit, which currently sits in between my minecraft torch and Walking Dead figurine collection on my "Shelf of Useless But Interesting Things".
Hmm... I am not sure of MY favourite game of all time.
I personally don't have one myself as I have many good games, but if I were to say one video game that I like the most, it would be most likely Spyro the Dragon 2: Gateway to Glimmer. (Ripto's Rage in America) as I really enjoyed that game.
