favourite fences you use?

Lattice, hedges, and stone. I like the bamboo fences but I don't know where I want to put my bamboo garden yet.

I'd say that my most used fence at the moment is the stone fence. I also like the iron stone fence, country fence, and brick fence. I haven't been able to figure out how to use the brick fence, though. I was using it previously, but I'm not sure if I'll be doing that since I can't figure out how to implement the brick path.

I mostly use hedge right now. I put some iron fence by my boardwalk, because it's a nice blue color...and I have some bamboo fencing by my Japanese waterfall inspired area. But, that's about the extent of what I use. Mostly hedges.

I was exclusively using the zen fence but have since started to remove them (Except for certain sections) and am now trying to use other fences to give the island more depth. I think this is part of my evolution from day 1 where everything was pretty much the same theme due to not having access to all of the furniture/recipes and now trying to incorporate as much as I can without making it look super out of place.

see, i like the iron fence's design, but i wish we could change the colour because i dont think the blue fits my island

I originally used hedges throughout my town but now I have limited them to only being used surrounding the homes of my villagers. The only other section I have fences up is Nooks & Ables, although I might remove those too (lattice fence). I bought a ton of fences in the beginning but now I think I like very minimal fencing lol

that makes sense!

im gonna have depth in other ways, but i would prefer that all my fences, paths, bridges, and inclines all are the same just because of tidiness

I agree...I find it odd that the color is locked. Luckily, I liked the color for my purposes...but I was going to check the alternate colors just for the heck of it...and I was shocked when I saw that there were no options for that. Especially being one of the most basic looking items. It's just a flat color...so, you'd think it would be perfect for color swaps.

My town has a tropical resort theme, so I use a lot of corral and bamboo fencing.
