Favourite dog breed?

I'm a little bit *cough* obsessed with Shiba Inus. Pomeranians and Samoyed are also breeds I really really like. A Golden Retriever would probably fit me best personality wise. I really love dogs in general! Whenever I see a greyhound-type dog I also marvel at them, but I couldn't deal with how much they need to move! 😂

^ Agreed, mutts are perfection and I don't like to support breeding when there's so many animals that need homes. My childhood dog was a golden retriever/collie mix, and she was the sweetest creature. Incredibly smart and gentle; I miss her a lot.

My current dog is a chihuahua mix and she's great, but I prefer bigger dogs. I've grown very fond of the Great Pyrenees dogs I see at work, so I guess that's my favorite.

Huskies are beautiful creatures. I love the eyes.

Honestly, it’s hard to pick just one because every breed has its own personality, but Golden Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers stand out for being friendly, loyal, and easy to bond with. They’re great with families and tend to have that balanced mix of playfulness and calm behavior. Smaller breeds such as Shih Tzus are also appealing if someone prefers a low-maintenance indoor companion.

When exploring different breeds and care tips, Four Dog Paws has some useful insights on their website that make it easier to understand which dog might suit different lifestyles. In the end, the “favorite” breed usually comes down to how well a dog’s temperament matches your daily routine, whether that’s an active outdoor lifestyle or a more relaxed home environment.

I've always wanted a boxer, not because they look tough, but because I saw two when I was a young adult and I was posted up outside my work at the time, and I saw a person leave their two boxers outside of a candy store across the street when they went in. The dogs were so attentive to their owner inside, and also friendly to strangers walking by.

I do think they are beautiful dogs too! They remind me of larger versions of the amazing Boston Terrier I grew up with as the family dog.
