Favorite way to make in-game bells?

I have memories of going to the island at 10 in the evening to catch beetles. When it comes to the weekends. I do it even later where I would sometimes catch beetles up till 1 in the morning! On average per trip, it takes me half an hour to make approximately 500k bells with the bell town ordinance.

Before knowing the island beetle trick, I would always sell fruit and capitalize on the perfect ones.

When I played this game...I went to the island at 7pm as well as sold turnips at high prices at other player’s towns.
