Favorite way to earn bells?

I don't like using the beetle method, because it seems rather boring! I just sell my fruit at Re-Sell, and then save the perfect pears for a friend's town. Each two harvests nets me about 3m bells, and since not much in the game is that expensive, I'm pretty much set.
I've tried turnips, but it never works out favorably for me!

Online trading, selling stuff, but it's addictive.

i got to the Island and catch bugs at night. because during the day, nothing comes out i get loads of money that way. especially filling up the box
