Here are my favorites:
Cranky: Roscoe, Tom ~ I had Tom as a camper, but I haven't met Roscoe yet. Still, I like Roscoe's character design. :]
I have Gaston and Harry and I've grown really attached to them, however, there are a lot of other cranky villagers I rather have had.
Jock: Drift ~ I had him as a camper and I wasn't annoyed by anything he said even though I think I've had jock campers there before. I also like the quote on his picture; it's almost the same exact thing that a friend of mine has on his player card and on his Mii on his Wii-U.
I have Hamlet and I don't care much for him.
Lazy: Punchy, Erik, maybe Pudge?
I have Punchy and I had Erik move in to my town after he was done camping; I'm not sure if he's my favorite out of the other lazies I could have but for now he's on my list because I do like him a lot :] and think he's cute.
Normal: Kiki ~ the first time I met her was in a dream town and I knew then, that I wanted her in my town; and later I did get her in a trade with Maruchan :]. There are a lot of cute normal villagers but I can't decide which others could be a favorite.
I have Gladys and I used to like her a little, but now, meh...not so much.
Peppy: Puddles (I have her in my town), Dotty (I vaguely remember her and liking her in
Wild World), Rosie, Felicity, and Merry. I'd list a few more, but I think that's enough lol; there are a lot of cute peppy villagers

Snooty: Ankha.
I used to have Baabara and Blanche.
Uchi: None at the moment.
I had Paula and I didn't care for her.
