Favorite Villager Duo

Well, I'll be talking about who are the great friends in my town and not who I ship, soooo....

Fang and Genji are quite close. Fang would rather visit and follow Genji around my town than his neighbors Beau and Chief. Fang and Beau do hang out with one another, but I never saw them visit each other's houses or had a lengthy conversations, and I bet Fang doesn't have the patience to talk with the likes of Beau. I think the friendship Fang and Genji has is very adorable, since even in the very beginning of my playthrough they're the only original villagers that keep on talking with each other. Genji doesn't hang out with the others besides my mayor and Fang. Also I like them both, so favorite villager duo.

Bam and Beau's interactions are funny too. Never knew that Bam's super emotionally-vunerable around Beau. Beau's sorta bullying Bam with his usual behavior, but he still tries to follow Bam around even the blue deer's sad or pissed at him. They've done some "indirect trading" before, since Bam likes Beau's stuff and Beau has an eye for Bam's stuff that I got from them. And when both are outside, they like to follow and talk to each other.

Chadder and Beau, Chadder and Yuka, Ankha and Bones, they are also the friendship pairs in my town. But I'm not fond of them. I'm a bit sad that Ankha and Yuka stopped hanging out with each other. Still hopeful that Genji and Snake will talk to each other one day. I bet they're going to have some sort of a rivalry.

in my town, whitney and nan are the best of friends. whitney would always tells me how she would feel terrible if she doesn't meet up with nan for their dancing sessions, while nan would always talk to me about how amazing and generous whitney is. it also helps that whitney would sometimes admit that nan is somewhat timid, so she wants to help her become more sociable. there's never been a time where the two of them were fighting. <3

As far as friendships go... I really love the idea of Beau and Zell as a brotherly duo! ^u^ And of course, Tia and Merengue would make the perfect BFFs :3 And in my town, Punchy and O'Hare are good friends, and I think that's really cute- probably because they're my two favorites x3

Or if we're talking about ships... O'Hare/Carmen and Snake/Mira for life XD

Cheri & Teddy. In my first town they were always together, so I plotted them side by side in Chenille and they're still the best of friends. Teddy's eyebrows always make it look like he's perplexed by this tiny half-his-size, overly perky little bear.

My #1 duo is Fang and Chief. It was so much fun having them in the same town at the same time. They often came up to me saying they need new furniture or a new catchphrase because the other one had complained about their decor or boring phrase. It was hilarious. It was always Fang complaining about Chief or Chief complaining about Fang. I guess they trusted each other's judgement even though they were arguing all the time. The cutest thing, though, was when they invited each other's to their birthday parties. Their birthdays are on the following days which made it extra adorable. First Chief visited Fang on Fang's birthday on December 18 and the next day they celebrated Chief's birthday together. I didn't know to expect it and it was one of my most memorable New Leaf moments. Ha, Fang and Chief. 2 cranky wolves sharing their annoyment of the world together.

Poppy and Marshal! At the moment I only have Poppy in Lumatown but I'm planning on getting Marshal in my other town. Aaaaahhh they're both so cute!

Eugene and Melba is another good pair, because I have them both in Lumatown. Though tbh I think Canberra and Melba is better because they look so similar to each other.

There's also Felicity and Rudy, my two favourite cats.

And Chrissy and Francine.
