What's your favorite personality type? how about your least favorite?
My favorite is Lazy, because of there adorable lines like"Yayy! are you on a walk to?"
I love normal villagers. They're always so friendly and pleasant to interact with. My second favorite are lazy ones because they're relatable. lol My least favorites are jocks and smug ones - I find myself unable to relate or care about what they have to say, lol.
I also have a soft spot for Jocks(I have both Ribbot and Sprocket on my island. they're adorable together)But I see why most players don't like them because animal crossing kinda gives off a peaceful vibe, not a 'flexing my muscles' vibe.

my least favourites are jock and normal
although axel is my fave villager, i just can't stand jocks they are so irritating
and normals bore me in this game although i've recently got fauna and she isn't bugging me as much as the other normals i had so i might change my mind about this ♡
I used to like lazy and cranky with the same strenght, but in NH I feel crankies a little more fleshed out than lazies? I still love my lazy villagers, it's nice to see how they seem to enjoy every little thing, like they don't complicate themselves, they are happy and that's it.
My least favorite have to be jocks, though I find myself giggling sometimes when they insists of making everything a competition or exercise related. Like Bam one day told me he wanted to be like a flea because flea are active all seasons so they are hard workers! I just think that from all personalities, they suffer the most when it comes to repetitive dialogue, since maybe lazies speak a lot about bugs, but I can still see the differences, when with jocks I get MUSCLE MUSCLE MUSCLE vibes.
Perhaps it's also because due to quarantine I can't go exercise outside (I'm a couch potato but I like to go do some long walks with friends), so I'm reminded of that with them.
This is difficult because I think all personalities have certain things they say that I enjoy.
I think I especially like Cranky and Lazy, though a lot of my favorite villagers tend to be Normal and Peppy. At first, I thought the peppy personality was somewhat grating, but they're actually hilarious.
My least favorite may be Snooty. I feel like mine doesn't have varied dialogue compared to some of my other villagers.
My experience with the jock characters in NL and NH has been positive compared with the majority of posts I see about them.
Probably smug. At least in the last game they were. Hugh was my only smug villager this time around and only for a few days. Hans is my favourite villager <3
I also really enjoy peppy. I like the silly paranoid asides they have in the game and the general fun weirdness.
Normal used to be my favorite when I played the older games as a kid.
Normal<3 I like characters that I would like in real life, and normal villagers are just so nurturing and kind! I also love peppy and jock villagers for a similar reason. They seem like they'd treat me right.
By how many villagers I like aesthetically in a personality, it would be the Normals because I think they're the cutest.
By the actual personality itself and the content of their dialogue, I think I like Uchis the most, which is a shame since most of them are not very cute imo.
A combination of aesthetics and personality, I think Lazies are my winner, I think a lot of them are very cute, and their dialogue is so weird and funny, I love them so much (a huh huh huh). I favourited all of Papi's letters to me because they're so weird, lol. So I vote Lazy!
It was actually hard to rank them, which is what I had to do to determine what my favorite was. I ended up liking jock the most, which I wasn't expecting. Not because I'm super into muscles or anything, but because it's just really funny to listen to Billy talk about his routines and stuff. I figure my experience of my current villagers determines how into the personality types I am. What I really like about jock though, since I'm at max friendship with Billy, is that once you get to that level they don't talk about muscles quite as much and they're really sweet and even a little more authentic with you. It feels like I've developed trust with Billy, like he knows he can tell me anything. That's wild. It reminds me of how befriending snooties felt in WW.
least favorite by far: smug. The only one I actually do not like. Maybe it's just Lionel, but I can't stand all the focus group talk and entitled high-falutin' nonsense. I would enjoy this personality type ironically, with an ugly-cute villager like Rodney who makes it funny.
