Favorite Penguin Villager

I'm curious and would like to know which penguin villager is your favorite and why.

For a while, I didn't really had any favorite penguin villager, as I found nobody that much appealing to me. Over the time however, I started to like Hopper more and more, especially after I saw the Animal Crossing movie for the first time ever and liked his appearance there. Besides, I also find his look kinda cool. Besides Hopper, I also started to like Sprinkle, she has such a cute design, which kinda reminds me of the Gen 4 Pokemon Piplup (guess that's one of the main reasons why I like her, as Piplup is my all-time favorite Pokemon, lol).

Cube is my favorite.
But I find Wade to be really cute too.
I'm not really a huge fan of the penguins either though.

While I do have an absolute favorite Penguin villager, it's still a tough choice because penguins are my favorite animal in real life so I like a bunch of them in the game too.

My absolute favorite Penguin is Hopper. I love his Macaroni Penguin design with the eyebrows. He was in my earliest town back on the GameCube before I deleted it shortly afterward to make a new town, which I regret. Fortunately I reacquired him years later and he's a resident of one of my towns in New Leaf, an all-bird town. I love his design, his house is pretty simplistic and pleasant, and he has the Cranky personality which is also great.

Second favorite is Sprinkle due to her unique look and coloration, and because of sentimental reasons because, thanks to a thread on the forums here, I arranged for my best friend who also loves penguins to adopt Sprinkle as a birthday present. I had asked her prior which Penguin villager was her favorite and then got her a bunch of items to go along with it, like balloons and such. Good memory, good villager.

Honorable mentions to Boomer, Flo, Gwen, Roald, and Tex. Boomer is a villager whose design I've always liked, but as of yet I've never had him as a resident of a town. I was planning to have him in one of my New Leaf towns, but now I think he'd fit better with the Island theme of New Horizons so I might hold off for a few months more. Roald is just a good, basic penguin and I've had him before. Same or Flo and Gwen, good basic designs, though I've never had either as a resident of a town. Finally, I had Tex for a period of time in my first New Leaf town before I restarted that to create my current main, horror-themed, town and I enjoyed having him as a resident.

There's not really a bad penguin in my opinion. I could have selected them all because I love penguins and I think their design is so cute. But I limited myself to just one...Hopper! Hopper has a really cool design and he's a cranky, which is my favorite personality. I would love to get him in my town one day, but sadly for now I'll just admire him from afar.

I like the Penguins as a species overall. I actually don’t think there’s a bad looking penguin in my opinion. The way they waddle around is just so adorable. I think Hopper has a really nice design and being a cranky is a plus. But the penguin that stole my heart is Wade for sure! He reminds me of a baby emperor penguin. Because of his simple white design almost every shirt looks good on him. Currently in my town he’s wearing the school jacket which matches him really well!

my vote goes for Sprinkle her name plus her color scheme and design are what made me vite for her. I'm not normally a penguin fan, but if I had any in my village I'd pick her first.

while I like friga's color, for some reasons I've never felt inclined to move er into my town.

I had cube as a villager in Animal crossing gcn and I thought his name was cool along with hia home furnishings.

Boomer, I think, would be my second favorite penguin villager. I just love his outfit and hat and his coloring combines really well with them.

Aurora isn't too bad either I just wouldn't move her into my town unless I was going for some kind of winter theme.

Roald is my absolute favourite Villager in the entire series! he moved into my very first town and the second i saw him i think i cried. he's so ****ing cute i'm going to eAT A WHOLE LEMON

penguins are another villager species i'm not a big fan of lol. i like that they're kind of pingu-eque in shape, though i think i'd like them much better if they were smaller. they're kind of on par which elephants in terms of sizing which i find a little odd looking, personally.

that being said i'd have to say cube is probably my favourite of them all. i enjoy his colour scheme and how his shirt goes really well with it all, and i think his cross eyes are really cute. just wanna squish him.

Coming into this thread Sprinkle was my favourite but then I looked up Analogue (never heard of him before) and wow he's so cute!!! I think he might be my new favourite.

The only penguin villagers I seen that I liked after looking them up were some of the old original ones such as Analog, Nobuo, and Wade. I seem to like a lot of the villagers from the old original game and makes me wish I did get to play the original. I guess I like them because of their looks and they are soo cute in their own way. There is one other penguin I do like that is new and that would be Sprinkle. She's so cool and remind me of Winter in a way. ^^

I voted for Sprinkle. I have her in my winter themed town and she is just so cute!

Overall I'm not crazy about the penguins tho. Like someone else said, they just seem too big? I wish their models were smaller!

Hopper and Sprinkle are my favourite! Hopper was my first cranky in NH and it was difficult to let him go!
