I really like alfredo though--nothing beats creamy mushroom alfredo <3 I can't really cook well so I just use like a packet or jar of sauce and chop up 49358 mushrooms to add into it. Mushrooms give me life.

I'm allergic to Tomatoes and milk so I always have to find alternatives for red sauce/tomato sauce/Alfredo.

My solution became wine sauces and pesto, and now I make then whenever I can.

1 cup fresh basil
1 1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese or 1 1/4 cups romano cheese
1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
4 -6 garlic cloves
1/4 cup pine nuts or 1/4 cup almonds
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
