Ok I got a to pick what is everyone's favorite movie and why?

Mine I would have to say Jaws because it was such a supriseing ending the same with my other The original The Last House on the Left that just was freaky. :veryhappy:

This is a hard choice for me between Hitchcock's Psycho, Vertigo, and Kubrick's The Shining, but I'd have to say The Shining gets the nod.

I can't explain it, but that movie just... affects me, in some way or another. It inspired me to pursue a career in film. I can watch it over and over and pick up something new every time. Flawless execution, an onslaught of subliminal messages, the performance of a lifetime is given here by Jack Nicholsen, just everything, perfect.

(But I cant wait for the 2-part 7th movie! >:D)

I'd pick Forrest Gump as my favorite. It's a pretty fun movie and I feel good watching it.

Hmm. Can't really choose between these:

Ирония судьбы (The Irony of Fate)
A Clockwork Orange
Служебный роман ("Office Romance")
Psycho
Двенадцать стульев (The Twelve Chairs)
Rear Window

I narrowed it down for you. Good taste.
The three Russian films I listed are excellent, especially the first one. There's a version on DVD with English subtitles on Amazon, I think.

Oh, yeah, I forgot "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"... another fantastic movie, adapted from a fantastic book. And Nicholson's performance...!

It is just simply the best movie ever made.
