I know this will probably be unobserved because of the new Nintendo announcement, but what is your favorite Zelda game? I was having an argument with a few people on facebook, and I personally believe it is Wind Waker. Here's is why.
First off, the graphics. The graphics on Wind Waker are a matter of opinion but they are very cartoony, as most people would point out. They are very unique and was a good change from the rest of the Zelda games. The way bombs exploded made you want to keep blowing them up over and over!
Second, the combat. The combat, in my opinion, was waaaay better than Ocarina of Times' because of the way you could move around and attack compared to the way enemies did was very balanced instead of you have to wait and hit when the enemy was off his guard (the werewolf at the Forest temple) in OoT.
Third is the gameplay itself. It introduces many cool features like the actual Wind Waker (item) itself. No other game had this kind of feature and it was very unique and fun to figure out. Next is the exploration. The exploration in this game is amazing because you actually don't know where you're going to end up being. Along the way to your destinations you can find cool islands, travelling salesmen, enemy rafts, and even watchtowers, huge squid, and a big wind guy who messes you up bad. There was so much too it, it can't be beat. OoT and Twilight Princess both had a lot of continuous running back and forth, and so on. There wasn't much interesting along the way to your next generation except for maybe a fairy cave.
And also, the plot itself, the Zelda actually being the pirate you first met in the beginning of the game, and the underwater palace. The boss fights are all fun and equally challenging as well. There is no better than WW.

Ocarina of Time (3D) ^.^ My second favourite would either be Twilight Princess or Majora's Mask.

A Link to the Past is my favorite, followed by Ocarina of Time and the original. But I've enjoyed every Zelda game I've played.

For me its a tie between Link's awakening and Wind Waker.
Livin 'in a dream or sailin on the sea. them's be the greats.

But I voted Majora's mask. I think it was in need of some lovin', like it always is.

Look at my username and avatar, then tell me what you think I voted for :P Majora's Mask is easily my favorite of all time, and of the consoles. If it was "Choose a favorite handheld and favorite console", then it'd be Majora's Mask and Spirit Tracks.

I've only played Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time (3D) so far and I've enjoyed OOT the most so far. I don't play with 3D on but I still like the graphics and the controls are easy enough. I also like the little-boy-Link the most.

I hate it when in SS you must shake the remote and nunchuk in order to perform some moves. So annoying -.- I think the graphics in this game are most enjoyable out of these three.

Twilight Princess is great also, I love the wolf. Sadly it's a bit too dark game IMO :(

I really like Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask, OoT, and Skyward Sword, in that order.

Ugh reading your Wind Waker description makes me wanna play it again >.< Thanks a lot. But my favorite is Majora's Mask.

I LOVED the oracle games (I didn't even see them on the list til I voted). I have to say they're my absolute favorites of all the games. At the same time I adored Skyward Sword. Ocarina of time is high on the list, but it's one of those games I've beaten so much it's become a fond memory.

Majora's Mask is among my favorite games.

It's just... that story. The entire story is such a perfect balance of dark and light. I was literally attached to the nation of Terminia, from the swamp to clock town.

In this order:
1. Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword
4. Majora's Mask
5. A Link to the Past
6. Wind Waker
7. Phantom Hourglass
8. Link's Awakening
9. Oracle of Ages/Seasons
10. Legend of Zelda

It is really hard for me to pick this out, especially the top three and five.

My favorite will forever be Wind Waker. I just loved how free it was and the new art style. It is also the reason I got spirit tracks.

My favorite was Wind Waker as well. The bright colors, wind and simplistic/cartoon style gave it a timeless feel. Where some of the older games have aged graphically, Wind Waker seems to retain a new, fresh look and atmosphere. Because it was more animated and exaggerated, so too was the gameplay, so I found it to be really fun and free feeling.

OoT was my favorite for a looooong time since it was the first Zelda I ever played. For its time it was really incredible and to this day I think still has the most majestic landscapes and best sense of exploration. I think WW had great exploration too, but some of the islands and the endless sailing detracted from it a bit.

Majora's Mask is my favorite in terms of sidequests and had such an eerie quality. Not many games from any series have dealt with the emotions of an entire village of characters, each with their own fears and problems that you try to help solve. If it weren't for the save system in MM, this would have been my favorite of all Zeldas. :p

Majora's Mask without a doubt is my most favorite. After that it'd probably be OoT and the Oracle games. I played the hell out of those when I was a kid.

Wind Waker. I used to play it all the time when I was younger! It was the first Zelda game I ever played, actually, I just think the graphics and the storyline really appealed to me as a whole, whereas maybe the other Zelda games wouldn't so much. As I've gotten older I've played the other games, but I'll always love Wind Waker the most. <3

I've only played Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask. Ocarina of Time is probably my favourite. Even though I never completed it, I just like the whole story of it. It doesn't have the best graphics and stuff, but I just really love everything about it. And it was the first Zelda game I ever played.

My favourite has always been Majora's Mask. It's just got so much hidden depth to it, as well as (imo) the best setting of any Zelda, and though it IS lacking in dungeon quantity, it more than makes up for that with quality.
