Hello Everyone.
I haven't seen a thread yet for sharing house designs. (If there is one pls link me.) I would like to ask you all what are your favorite outside house designs for your home? I see a lot of cool, fully paid off houses with the neatest appearances in dream towns in the past and would like some inspiration. I cant seem to ever choose something when guessing what I'd like in game. Feel free to post pictures of your house design (if possible) , also what your aiming at it to look like in the future if not finished designing it? Are you going for a regular house? Castle? Mansion? Do you use all one theme or several? Also what would your favorite flowers be to plant next to a house of your favorite design?

I like going for the castle exterior and the fairytale theme, it may be overdone but it looks cool. Another one I really like is the regular mansion exterior with a cabin theme, using wood and such. As for flowers, I think pink carnations look the best in front of a fairytale castle, however they are hard to breed. Pink roses are an alternative.

These are my house exteriors in my 1st town (excuse the mess)

My mayor's looks like a palace because I love the gold exterior, and it fits well with the gold/yellow/red flowers. The 2nd I wanted to look like a country house, since my town is kind of a forest, and the 3rd, well, I like the bricks and I thought the blue looked good with it.
In my 2nd town I plan on having a haunted mansion - with the castle exterior and dark colors, though I'm not sure what exactly yet I'll be using...

I like having the castle now, had the zen for a while. Trying to get either a fairytale theme or a kiddie theme. Since I can't find kiddie roof and exterior yet it's currently a bit mermaid-looking. I love the kiddie look and the sweets wall. I think the sweets wall can go with most exteriors
