So I have become obsessed with creating a "perfect" home I have almost all the rooms upgraded and I want them to all have a specific theme. I am curious if I am the only one who has a plan for each room in their house.

Presently I am working on my library and game/play room and have finished my living room kitchen and bedroom.
My basement I have planned to use as a display for all my limited collectibles from the island.

My favorite series is the classic one. Sadly i don't have all the items cataloged so i obsessively check the store every day.

I do this, I have so many ideas and not enough furniture to do it with...my houses so far just look like bland showcases for furniture sets :( It will take a while but we will get there!

I like the look of that playing card series (or whatever it's called. trump series, maybe?), but I'd need a department store in my town, and it's probably very expensive to get from other people :I

I'm working on expanding rooms so I can display each furniture series I'm working on collecting. I really like the mermaid series, lovely series, sleek series, and stripe series. Those are the ones I'm working on right now. The lovely room is partially a kitchen because it has a kitchen set in the theme.

I have three characters.

Gabby♪ is going to have a kitchen, two bedrooms (modern wood and alpine), a living room (zen set), and a gaming room in the basement. It will have 4-5 computers, a flat screen, and a few other things..
Anthony is going to have a house full of the astro, robo, and the sleek stuff.
Menma is going to have a bathroom, bedroom (probably the regal set), a kitchen (ranch maybe..), and a really cool living room.

So that's all happening.. :3

I have the full sleek series so just ask if you're still after it ^^

My main character has a normal house-y house:
-the main room is a formal living/dining room
-then there's the creepy/gothic-themed kitchen
-the den where I put sloppy furniture, the TV, and knick-knacks I think are funny (firework prizes, etc.)
-my bedroom is themed as if someone dumped a fancy dollhouse into a garden (pink rococo furniture mixed with bug stuff/leaf bed/sprout table/rose sofa/etc.)
-and my upstairs will eventually be an attic (a bunch of cool old/antique stuff mixed with cardboard furniture and wooden boxes) with a bathroom in the corner.

My secondary character's house has been turned into a public library, which I'm really pleased with. The main room has magazines, computer stations, and the check-out counter. There's also a kid's book room, and a normal library reading/shelf room, and the room behind the checkout counter is the librarian's apartment (which I've furnished with cat-themed stuff, though it isn't done yet).

The classic series is excellent furniture to compliment a study/library room. I'm currently using sleek and modern in my living room, and cabana and simple modern wood in the kitchen. I'm trying to get most of a series in a room to boost HHA scores, without losing the feeling of it being a room. I've cycled through a few series, and I've come up with a small list. Regal is nice for formal rooms (dining and family), and cabin and ranch for casual rooms (Kitchen and living). Light green and blue furniture is nice for eating rooms (kitchen and dining), but darker tones fit better in social rooms (family and living). Alpine is best in the opposing kitchen and family rooms, and finally, the Exotic series meshes with the other opposite pair, dining and living rooms.
