I've been really into bioluminescent creatures in this game. I have fireflies and moon jellyfish all over my town, and a football fish instead of a nightstand haha.
I also like the turtles and snails (both actual snail and the whelk). Such cuties.
I'm not a big bug fan, but I do love the butterflies, orchid mantis, pray mantis, ladybugs, and of course, my big favorite, the dragonflies. Back in my old home before I moved years ago, we had this swimming pool place my family and I would go to every summer and we would occasionally sometimes see a little dragonfly by the water. They were soo cool and I loved seeing that, so that's why the dragonflies are my big favorites.
As for the fish, koi are sooo pretty and they come in all sorts of colors. I wish there was more colors of them in New Horizons. That would be cool.
Favourite fish would be the Betta or the Clown Fish. I love their colours. I love any of the fish in the little tank in the museum with the goldfish. Also up there is the Salmon. I don’t know why but I always feel accomplished when I catch one and their scales are beautifully symmetrical!
Bug has to the Queen Alex Birdwing, that thing’s like the 747 of butterflies! I always feel excited to see one and it’s colour scheme is amazing
