They should of added Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts characters.

That would have made the game horrible.
Smash Bros is a more cartoony style fighting game, and adding more realistic characters would make it too confusing and less enjoyable.
and Nintendo doesn't have any ownership of KH, so that's impossible.
