I'm curious and would like to know which anteater villager is your favorite and why.
The only anteater I still like over the time I'm playing the AC games is Cyrano. At first I didn't like him, but over the time, I changed my opinion about him and I also like the fact that he appeared in the Animal Crossing movie. There is also an anteater I only know thanks to the AC wikia named Zoe, which I find pretty cute, too bad however that she only appeared in the older titles and never made it into Wild World and further.
My favorite Anteater villager is Annalisa, since her design, at least to me, is reminiscent of a plague doctor's mask.
Runner-up is Anabelle, since her pangolin-inspired design and yellow coloration makes me think of the Pok?mon Sandshrew. Honorable mention to Olaf, whose matador design is pretty great, and I think he'd look pretty snazzy even if he inevitably changed his shirt.
I think I will settle for Antonio. While he may be my least favorite villager type, he has a simple face that is rather likable and his colors are natural.
I was thinking something similar when I looked her up. I think she's one of my favorites from the anteater group, as well. I'm not a huge fan of anteater villagers, but if I had to pick one I'd go for her and maybe Antonio.
i don't even know if i can answer this one, truthfully. anteaters are kind of a weird design and a weird animal to begin with, i wonder why they were even included? nothing against them but they aren't like, a basic animal like cats and dogs, maybe they're more common in japan or something idk.
i guess i'd have to say lulu? she's a nice light yellow colour which i find cute, plus her white underbelly adds a nice touch to her. she's very simple aesthetically which is probably beneficial to a design i'm not particularly a fan of lol.
Cyrano.
When I was getting into acnl, as I never owned an animal crossing game previously, I was researching all the villagers and seeing what the popular ones and unpopular ones were so I could choose only the cutest villagers in my town. But I came across a Tumblr page dedicated to Cyrano. The person admitted their unpopularity but had so many funny interactions with him that it convinced me he should be one of mine too.
My favorite interaction with him was this time when I had Drake move in.
Drake had pinged me that week to seek out Cyrano and invite him into his home. Drake essentially only wanted to say "hi, I wanted to know if you'd like to join me and eat a slice of pie."
Cyrano then got mad and said, "did you seriously invite me over for that? I don't even know you!" and bolted out the door. Drake was so depressed, he moved out my town without telling me a week later lmao.
I wish I still had the photos to prove it.
Not too big of a fan of the anteaters, but after looking them up, I'd say Lulu, Nosegay, Snooty, and Zoe are the ones I like. To be honest, I'm not fond of the anteater's design and it's always weird when they eat the fruit you give to them. So, I just like those four based off their colors and design. Not much else though. :/
Ugh, anteaters. Possibly my least favourite species, they are just so un-appealing looking to me! If I had to pick one I guess I would pick Lulu, she is pretty harmless looking. Simple design and neutral colours, and her little black eyes are cute.
If I had to choose (there isn't really any "pretty" anteater... so heh), I'd say Pango! I really appreciate her color scheme! I like the blue and purple blend on her fur, too bad it got kinda wasted by her brown shirt...
i rly like anabelle actually, she's a cute bright yellow which appeals to me and she's one of the few animals i've had in my town that i had no interest in keeping but actually rly grew on me and i ended up keeping for ages, she was in my first ever town as well so she holds a lot of sentimental value
