With the game lacking things like the club and island tours, there's not a lot to do in multiplayer other than trading, selling turnips, and touring islands.

As a result, many have taken it upon themselves to come up with games and activities for visitors to play on their island.

I recently held a game night with some friends and we played musical chairs, sardines, a murder mystery, and ghost in the graveyard on my island and had a lot of fun!

I'm curious to know what others have come up with to play on their islands or have participated in on someone else's island! Would love to get some ideas for games I can host on my island:)

Hide and Seek

I used to play Hide and Seek with friends in New Leaf. Everybody was required to have a timer, because if they were found first, they'd be it and have to use the timer after everybody else was found. You can buy the timer from Nook's Cranny in the game once you've upgraded it. The person who was it would set the timer to 10 minutes, 10 seconds. After the 10 seconds went down, the person who was it was supposed to look for everybody in town. The players hiding could hide anywhere except indoors. It was fun. There weren't any prizes involved. I guess if you wanted to you could add prizes.

I played hide and seek a lot in New Leaf too! I have yet to play it in NH

With friends, it's just like normal, boring stuff: fishing and catching bugs.

But last month, I held a last minute scavenger hunt. I scattered fall materials and hid pitfalls for 5 guests. Then I crafted them mushroom furniture with the materials they gathered.

I plan on doing more for friends and randos. 😌
