my personal favorite is by far the Halloween celebration: its not very often that games marketed at children have elements that are kind of genuinely scary [the chasing !] but not overdone. you can receive a LOT of goodies without time-traveling and are given a lot of opportunities to get the necessary materials if you're lacking something. for being "tricks", the pumpkin heads and jack-in-a-boxes are some pretty cool prizes and look good inside my toy-themed home without being outright Halloween-ish. also, it's really cute to watch your smallest villagers try to be scary while their body is about as tall as the pumpkin itself ^.^ i also like the fireworks festivals through august, however there really isnt all that much to do once you gorge yourself on fortune cookies trying to get a lovely phone or doll for an hour. the boppers are some of my favorite headgear though!
what is your favorite new leaf holiday and why?

Halloween because I really like the items and the masks. :) I also like April Fools, especially when I play it without a guide.

Festivale because watching that ultra-out-of-the-closet Pave shaking his thing makes me the happiest person on the face of the Earth. Just knowing Festivale is on its way makes me smile. After that would be the week of the Sakura Festival and then Toy Day :)

I love toy day. Its so fun running around being Santa.
So cute how all the villagers do not even know that it is you the whole time.

Actually I love all the NL holidays. Or rather, the way in which the holidays are portrayed. I think they've done it wonderfully.

I love Toy Day and April Fool's day ^_^
Writing down what kind of presents my villagers want during December and getting to be santa is super fun.

April Fools I like guessing the different unique personality traits of each neighbour, plus blanca is adorable c:

My favourite holiday would be Toy Day, the snow and jolly atmosphere really brightens up the night xD just seems a bit more decorative ~

I'm excited for Festivale! I haven't experienced it yet but it looks and sounds really fun!

I like Toy Day the best because it's cool how the villagers talk in the days/weeks beforehand about what toys they hope to get, it really draws the season out the way Christmas gets stretched out in real life. Also, I love how all the cedar trees turn into Christmas trees. Plus, there's everything going on with the snow and snow people, it feels so festive.

what i like second best, even though it is not technically a holiday, is cherry blossom season, with all the petals blowing through the air...

My favorite is probably New Years Day and Cherry Blossom Day as minimal as these Holidays are, I love receiving a Zodiac Animal as I am very much into the Zodiac lol, I daresay I only have 1-2 so not terribly on top of collecting as I could be and also as for the Cherry Blossoms it's such a beautiful season/day to get some photos taken, I find it somewhat breathtaking compared with any of the other seasons :3 I just like to see my town in splendor, despite that I may need to clean up before playing gain haha. I also need to add even though I missed April Fool's I love the fact that by finding the fake Villager you apparently get a Photo of said Villager xD? So that Holiday sounds great too^^

My favourite is Toy Day and April Fools. Leading up to Toy Day CAN be annoying, they will talk nothing more or less than Toy Day but it just shows how excited they are. When it comes it can be as repetitive sure but to me, no. I love seeing their little faces light up with joy "OMG SANTA!! I shall keep this present forever" we all know they won't but it's just soooo sweet.

April Fools Day because pictures...its the easiest way of getting them and i like collecting them. I have a memorial garden in my back room full of them. Its just really nice to look at them and the memories you have of them.

Halloween and April Fool's! I haven't experienced Toy Day yet or anything in January, February, and early March.
